If you can get it, I used DOM tubing for my mast pipe. The R7 is almost 10 feet above my Tri_band Yagi. VERY STRONG stuff used in a LOT of roll cage and suspension parts for off road vehicles, a bit over kill but it stays up.......

I use a Cushcraft R7 for 40 and the warc bands... Get a wire up for 40 and MODULATE !
