Was the recommendation for the 900 and 920 models due to the antenna you planned on using?
They have a 910 and 930 model on the Breedlove site that looks similar to what you are wanting.
Also a couple listed on ebay...
I'm in need of a couple of parts for a HR2510 radio I'm attempting to restore and thought I'd ask here.
These are the part numbers/description from the HR2510 Service Manual
Y301 - BYYY0548001 Ceramic Resonator YY-548 CSA2.000MK (Blue 2 Pin Ceramic Resonator 2.000 Mhz on the CPU/PLL board)...
I have an RCI 2990 that has very low receive. I can hear strong stations yet there is no signal on the S meter. When I key up a radio on the bench beside it I get signal on the S meter but it's not pegged out and adjusting the RF gain doesn't do anything, S meter stays in the same place.
I have...
I've had this mic for a while and finally got around to fixing a no audio issue. Thought I'd share some pics as it's one you don't see to often.
It has a the option for a short 1kHz "End of Transmission Signal". Offers Vox compatibility for radios equipped with Voice activated switching and a...
Ok now you got me concerned. But to be honest this little tube of flux is at least 25 years old if not older. it's like a quarter of the size of a toothpaste tube so can't image it would last very long for any amount of plumbing work. The writing is worn off it so I can't even read it. I got it...
Ok so VR9 is working right. When turned counter clockwise it reads 6.8k ohms when turned clockwise it reads 1.2k ohms.
So I put a 330 ohm resistor at r149 and when checking the bias on the final I read 70mA with VR9 fully counter clockwise put the 100 ohm resistor back at R149 and checked the...
Got pulled away to something else. Just getting back to this.
Looks like the VR9 is reading roughly 1K ohm to about 6K ohm. If I'm looking at this right the bias current is lower when VR9 is turned all the way to the left which is where the VR is reading 1K. Which doesn't make sense to me...
I removed the Anode wire at the base of TR40 from the main board and tested.
Positive lead from meter to anode side of diode reads 1.138
Negative lead from meter to anode side of diode reads .0L
Seems Ok. Not sure what the voltage drop of the mv-13 diode should be.
2 1n4148s in series is 1.160..
Looks like the mv-13yh diode is no where to be found. I will remove the leads from the board and test the diode this evening and let you know what I find.
Resistor checked 10 Ohm. At first I thought it was bad as it had continuity but so did the couple of new 10 Ohm resistors I checked. I realized that there wasn't enough resistance for the multi meter's continuity check. The Final failed the transistor check.
I replaced the final. Set the driver...
