Yes they are a bitch to disassemble. You gotta actually unsolder the coax going to the so239S before you can open it. Also, I retapped ALL the sheet metal screw threads on my messenger 2kw and converted to metric. That way, i wouldnt worry about wearing out the threads or the screw coming loose...

I didnt know that you dont always have to have a tuned input. Maybe it was built this way. If so, easier to tune with one knob. I read the tutorial here on how to tune a ac amp. Im following those instructions but only with one tuner. Is there another way to tune this one knob amp?
