I have a pc 66xl. I figured that was the only one myself. It has a Philippine board in it. It is nowhere near my only radio or project but, I do use this one quite a bit. I currently buy cheap old radios to practice diagnosing.

is there a way to tune a radio with just a 3 window Dosy meter? I have a 4 watt uniden pc66.

Superzilla cleaner did a good job. Nice to know acetone does the trick as well.

I’m working on a pc 76 still. I got rid of almost all the glue and needed to switch out a transistor. 2 of the non corroded prongs came free but the corroded one is stuck in the board. Is there a way to dissolve just a little cement glue?

Hello, I have 2 Antron 99 antennas sitting around. I’ve heard of a “Francis triple quarter waves” top section but can’t seem to find one. Do they still exist?

Ok this was all on minimal modulation without turning the knob. It wanders from as you see 2-280. I didn’t get a photo of maximum modulation but, it was stuck at 1. I then turned the modulation back down and it started wandering again on minimum. I’m calling it a night because I’m beyond...

Ok currently with radio both on and off 1 and 2 do not register. My mistake because I didn’t see on of my probs touching the outer ring.

I got about 225 with the radio off and 0 with the radio on. Pins 1 and 2. Meter is set on ohms

Ok I tried checking the voltage at the modulation knob and I got nothing. I’m not seeing a loose wire “yet”.
