rigs been working great, now al of the sudden tons of static over the speaker, even with the volume down, squelch up, rf gain down. And when using the stock mic to channel up and down, when a button is pressed it makes all the icons on the display light up ?? Any ideas ?

I have a new 148 here, it's been working great, had it dead keying 2 watts or so swinging to 6 or so. Accidently put 17 or so volts to it. Now, it's stuck at 10 watt dead key, and No modulation at all. VR10 makes no change what so ever to the dead key. What could make it do this ?

Well I've read a great deal on these forums about this amp and I have learn alot about it and made mine perform better and better. I tuned the low and hi SWR inputs to the amp after learning what those adjustments under the driver tubes and the hi-low switch were for. Thanks for that info...
