    W5LZ was right on with his statements. It will work. Get a good quality antenna, and coax. Stay away from the cheap RG58u coax, Mimi 8 braded is much better. Antennas get something that is tuneable, Wilson Silverload, Firestick, ect. Make sure the SWR's are set with the camper on the truck as it...

    COBRA 2000 GTL

    Say what you may, the 2000 was ahead of its time in looks. It performed great, and put a smile on owners when others saw and heard them I'd swap the 4 Galaxy mobile I have for one good working, not butchered 2000. May even throw in the Washington too. I'm one who likes the 2000.
