since it only has 5 digits, i couldnt watch the difference. there is a tiny bit, but seems to warm up fairly quick.

just had a good long qso on 10m with the locals, they said it sounded fine, I was using a astatic 575. The heat sink did get pretty warm but the fan kicked in and ran fine. They noticed no drifting what so ever.

just got one this evening. It was hard to learn to program, even with manual, but I got used to it. I really do like all the features so far and looks great. This is my 1st dual bander.

got the radio in today and am impressed by the stability on ssb. I m getting a 10w-50w dk on am, 110w swing and 110w swing on ssb as well. The reading were using my Palstar wm150 on peak mode. I like it so far.

I just got in a 94hp second hand that used 4 fets and I am seeing 110w pep on my palstar, just for reference.

You cant slide between the channels to talk on the 10m voice freqs??

old philly 148gtl with a dm-452 mic got me excellent reports on am, running with the exports!! It didnt put out much watts, but they were loud!!!

go with the s9, maybe turn the top gun off

just turn your vr wide open, you wont be able to notice the difference between the 2 and its easier to adjust the vr backdown if you ever wanted to do any changes. the clipping would require a soldering iron.

I would use a mobile, they can alaways be used in the mobile if you change your mind.
