    do u have the antenna ground mounted? if so just run some twin lead out about 16 ft or so an that should do it.

    well i suggest that u get a scanner.. for one they have all what u need vhf uhf an hf "fm". an for two this way u wont get the urge key that little ptt button on the side.

    that antenna is a Opek htv multi-band.. it runs 80m-432mhz.. And its performance has blown my mind away. lol.. an the antenna on the roof is a diamond 7700 2/440.
