148 GTL OK I put the jumper on pins 2+4 and it seems ok now, BUT on a radio check my friend said it sounded fuzzy, I think I found out why,,, transistors 24 + 26 are gone, resistors 130 + 131 are gone. and a wire from r130 the long leg side to vr 10, I have no Idea what that did...

TX EIGHT HUNDRED Thanks for that info, I tried a lot of searches with no luck, there is no real tech around me within 200 miles or better, and they are not true techs just golden screwdriver turners like copper and H&Y techs. I will keep searching tho! or just do one part at a time?

boomer OK Thanks for the info, All! I just thought maybe there was something wrong. so all is good, and the amp works great now that the ps is all rebuilt with 7 new Tip35's 3 new 47000uf caps 1 new tip31 and a new low med hi power seitch and resistors..

Well I am using a 5 pin plug, but the mic I am using it the 4 wire super side kick, and it don't do it on the 5 pin washington? with the same mic?

Actually that is how it is, solid jumper from High position, and a resistor for low and med.

Boomer Deluxe 500 I just got one of thes amps, and there is a componet on the power lever switch missing, Wrell I have it, but led broke off, it looks like it goes from the medium side of the switch then goed to the board. anyone know what it is? it looks like a load? non color coded...
