sp5it I cannot find any info on voltages and where to check them on the Dak. It has the MC145106 pll in it . But do not know exactly how to find just channel 1 to check TX voltage? Channel selector board is numbered 1-8 on back and I can see PLL chip. Sorry not exactly sure.

I have about 6 of those amplifiers. I usually set my radio to a 2-3 watt deadkey and set the JB150 to a 3 watt deadkey to get my best results. I have a Dak IX works good transmits on all 40 channels. It receives good on all channels except channels 1-13 all of these channels do not receive just a muffled sound . Any ideas on what to do ??? Thanks

It is a plug in the wall base amplifier. I believe you are right on 8950 tubes just cannot find where it actually says it.
