    July 1980 is in the wrong spot, it should be in 1981. Thanks for taking the time to scan these great old mags. I have never heard of S9 mag as I was born in 1981. The mags that I used to read here in Australia was CB Action which ended in the late 90's. I miss those old mags

    That is way to much current for an automotive fan to pull on start up and run. May have a partial short in the winding.

    There is a company advertising a 69ffc4 however on SSB it has a tendency to drift like a sail boad in a hurricane. I have seen another company who is fitting the ffc4 amp to a rci2970 and calling it the 2970ffc4, it is ment to be rock solid on SSB
