    Astatic 575m6 help needed

    I have the same Mic. Set the power and Tone about a 1/4 inch off the bottom of the mic. Set the radio mic gain at 2:00. You want more radio mic gain. That way you save on the battery and your not over driving the audio.. Hope this will help you.. The 575M6 is a great mic ..

    heil hc-5 & hc-4 on a 2950dx

    CDX1220, I added the (Heil) HC-5 to my stock mic that came with my 2950DX. It sound's great. But after I added a SP-1A in the radio. I really don't use the stock mic with the HC-5 any more.. A lot more PUNCH with the SP 1-A. Tom
