Cap Location and Power Question I am aware of the procedure and thank you for the post...but is the location of c125 the cap I have indicated and does the power output sound right for this rig or does it seem down, my rci puts out more on ssb.

Hey Fellas, If building a vertical dipole supported by a METAL pole, couldn't you use the pole as part of the over-all length of the antenna? I'm looking at building a center feed antenna out of pvc and old cb antennas...thanks.

I have a low pulsating hum coming from the speaker when the volume control is turned completely down. As you slowly turn the volume control up the hum becomes lower and lower until I reach the 2 o'clock position and then the hum is gone. Would appreciate any help!
