Even with my tuner i get a 3.o swr one way i fixed this was to replace the top section with a 102" sw making it longer and i can get 1.8 in the center of the band Top section of an imax will lower the swr on 17 as well

look in to breedlove mounts but the quick easy way is the k40 mag,lip and permanent mount all in one

sure but you need to set the magnet on a large piece of metal ... even a cake pan, gutter and make sure to go as high as you can but an antron 99 is actually cheaper than a k40
