Yes, I have owned several of these over the years, and it's the radio I traded for, when I bought a brand new Cobra 2000 in 1990, and decided that it was overrated, and never really cared for the looks of it. anyway.
I always thought it looked more like a sofa, than a radio.

The guy I sourced these from, said he had the 1307, but sent me the 1969, stating that it will work, totally ignoring the fact that I wanted the 1307 specifically.

I use a 30' fiberglass push up pole, purchased from DX Engineering, and with a Sirio Tornado 27 sitting on top. Grounded the antenna with 5 AWG wire, and no CMC getting in like it was with the Tram 1498.
Very pleased with this setup.
Well, I just fired it up, and it's working in all modes. Only problem, is that the RF power knob does nothing. It dead keys 3W and swings to 39W PEP on all modes, except FM.
