I picked up a 2000gtl Fer $200 Canadian. Came with 2 speakers,D104 mic, Original box and manual. X-mit's great as well as recieve. For Extra chanels they mucked up the anl and nb switches to do this. She's been peaked and tuned because it shure ain't pushin 4w on am ect. Ok now the down...

Also try ALLAN 9001. The only difference between the 2 are the knobs and the allan has a bice silkscreen on the top which looks cool. :beer

Don't think its a problem in Canada for if it was the towing vehicle comunity and news hounds wound be in some kinda trouble.

I gota say I enjoy the IC-T90A. In Canada the recieve goes from 0.495 to 999.990mhz with no gaps. We do a lot of traviling and those extra freqs. come in handy. I also found the SWL is pretty good with a long pice of wire tied onto the antenna. The only down side I found was the speaker...

Ya I guess that applies when there's no skipp. But I don't know how anyone can work those freqs.when QRMEXICO kicks in. Gees those guys are chewin it up from 25-29mhz in all modes with roger beeps and Echo. I pitty the poor fool dat try to comunicate when those boys get loud! :x
