Best 10 meter radio today on the listening side? Not sure, the Connex Saturn base was the best receive on SSB I've ever heard

The weather here in Indiana is kinda strange. 8 element quad might last 1 winter or last 10. Just hope I have enough energy to keep up with it, that's all I'm worried about is the energy to maintain it. Think I have a few good years left atleast

I've said this a few times, nobody has to follow suite just an idea. I just check/tune my SWR at the antenna with the coax I'm using, 18ft , 32ft etc. I run no swr/power meter inline with an amp, swr at the antenna should not change or if just a very little once antenna is tuned/setup. I've had...

I like the setup so far, of course the 20 people a week asking why&what is that on your balcony. But overall , the Antron 99 I had up got out very well, besides the static on the receive side.

BBI lost a few points just by interrupting. Was listening to John, and then BAM! The whole video he did that.

I only use the first 2 , it's fairly easy with a good set of gloves with grip. I've had the Rohn pushup mast in the past, and the spiderbeam mast smokes it.

I will say this, as far as the build on the 2016 sirio, it's a tough antenna. Had 60+mph winds the last couple of storms and everything checked out ok afterwards. Now of course over time any antenna starts to show it's age, but I'm happy with it. As far as SWR, tuned 1.1-1.2 across Cb band, it...
