oh that was an example stating when the birds the ones that fly where on my antenna the SWR dropped .1 witch isnt much but i woulda thought it would went up

i hope not..... i did notice when the birds were on it the SWR meter showed 1.4:1 with out birds on it it droped to 1.4:0 with them on it but.......1 lol thats not even a worry JUST NO BIRDS NESTS IN THE COIL

lol went outside looks like the birds found my radials already... had 2 blue birds siting there hahaha

INSTALL: well the MACO was installed yesterday have it up at 35 or more ft with guys installed...... all n all installation was very easy other then a few simple issues.... the tuning now that's a different story but... from the default setting or instructions in the manual wasn't cutting it...

yea i love a dipole i set mine up inverted v great local / limited dx..... if you want purely DX try it flat top and it'll get out alot further and if you put a kicker behind it man it'll GET DOWN

so last night i ordered the MACO V58...... i cant wait for it to get here and test it out....... i was wondering if anyone has any tuning tips for it length etc..... ive heard about adjusting the top the lower sections and the ring witch is best mine as well ask b4 it get here so i dont have...

give it a shot i use to have one in the house but pc's tvs had issues with RFI with that said id find a way to mount it corner to corner if thats possible in the room your setting it up i ran mine inverted v on the wall for a year and it did well on a barefoot rig i could talk to the truck stops...
