    best 10 m radio

For SSB....mostly on CB and lil above or below, I would look into a President HR 2510 or 2600, or the RCI 2950/2970 line. The Magnum S9 and Omegaforce ain't bad radios either.

    Magnum Radios... anygood?

low dk and swing is the answer. not a healthy way to operate. if he turned that variable knob up a 1/4 turn, you'd hear him fine

while exports can be tuned to be loud, you are absolutely right. Cobra 29's can still be tuned to sound better than the rest of 'em. or a Galaxy 929, Uniden 78....all can be tuned to have loud audio

    Magnum Radios... anygood?

i have the Omegaforce, Deltaforce, S-9, and M-1.....all are top notch radios, topgun is great to have when you want to use it, just leave it off with amps. Magnum radios are a great am/ssb combo. with Galaxy you get BIG AM POWER and a drifty ssb situation. with RCI 2950 you get ssb stability...

Help on next CB-10 Meter Radio purchase

For more power: buy something more than a General Lee (only one worth it from your list IMO), the few extra RMS watts arent worth it. Go with the Stryker 490 or Connex 4600 Turbo if you really want to notice the difference. Other than that, get the Cobra 29 tuned right, they are still one of...
