Yea its about 15' above it now. I'm not sure what a half wave is. I had the same problem with my antron when I put it up. I had to put the tuning rings almost all the way to the top to get flat SWR. My coax may be mismatched not 50 Ohms. I really dont know how to check it. I put on new amphenol...
Ok NB. I put on my 3' cheap jumper and here is what I got with my Workman and Radio. Ch1 1.7 Ch 40 2.6 That Workman
Ch 1 1.4 Ch 40 1 flat thats with the Radio with meter and jumper still inline.
Ch 1 1.2 Ch 40 1.2 thats Radio with feed line hooked to radio with no meter inline.
No not local I don't. I wish I did. Its set now at that measurement. I'll just put it up and see what happens. I put loctite on all the screws on assembly. Did you loctite the set screw on top section?
Man this is crazy. I just checked it with my Workman HP201S and it shows 1.7 on ch1 and 2.7 on ch40 but with the radio meter it shows 1.3 on both 1 and 40. Whats really weird is that on 11 meter band on ch1 and 40 the calibration on my Workman needs no adjustment when checking. Don't make any...
I have no idea about the measurement. I can get it tomorrow. Do you think I just need to put it up like it is and hopefully it will flatten out? If not it will still be ok.
Ok looks like its not what it was when I checked it earlier. Ch8 Freq 27.055 to Ch34 Freq 27.345 its 1.2 above ch 34 and below ch8 its 1.3 so it dont flat anywhere like I have it now. But where its at the radials are almost under my roof on my deck and about 6' below my roof.
Thanks Dallas. I was thinking the same thing. Tomorrow I'm gonna lower the top section a bit and see if I can get it 1.2 all the way across the band. Then put it up and hope its lower matched when I get it up. I sure hope so. Its a pain trying to tke this thing up and down even on this short pole.
Sirio Tornado 27. I know this isn't the idea place to check the SWR but I was by myself today and it was the best I could do. The ground plain is way below my roof. The SWR is 1.2 on ch 1 and 1.3 on ch 40. Do you think it will be lower if I put it on my 30ft pole that my Antron is on? I'm just...

I'm not sure about the radials. I will have to look at specs again. I went off these reviews and several other places. All were really positive and could not find a bad one.
