    That’s right where I do most of my talkin. 27.385 and up to around 27.5. If I understand correctly x0 is point of resonance. I just got analyzer if I am just learning the art of fine tuning beyond just simply using swr. I started with Sirios length and was happy where it ended up.

    I’ll have to try in series sometime I got tons of leds to play with. Probably gonna leave radio alone.

    I put a 500 ohm trimmer risistor in line with the led. I bolted it through an existing hole in the chassis. Now i can tame the lights a touch. So it goes 8v through 0-500 ohm 1 watt trimmer then each led has its own 270 ohm resistor. Ive got it set somewhere in the middle.

    It was one of the old ones before the dx.had the orange display. I acquired it on a horse trade from a cber in my area. He wanted it back and offered me a price I couldn’t resist. This was back in probably 2004

    I had a 2950 for a while. Receiver was wide as a barn door. Good radio other than that. They seem to kick a** on tx.

    I’ve never been impressed by any galaxy/RCI product. There are far better sideband rigs for sure. For loud AM maybe they’re ok, but that’s not what I’m into.

    I looked at that one too. What are the 3 little radials on the radiator. I thought maybe it was snake oil for a basic 1/4 wave. But maybe it adds audio gain. :sneaky:
