Got the antennas, Man they are beasts. I wont have the heavy duty mounts till the 16th so I will have to use my old antenna for now. I will say this, If they work half as good as they look it will be great...:D I am gonna get the 148 setup tomorrow and my TS plumbed.

Found it, It is the "key" jack not mic for connecting a telegraph key.

Quick question, what is the little hole on the upper left (as you are lookin at the back) on the rear for. I beleive it is labled "mic"

Hey all, i got my new truck and will be using my buddy's 148 with my TS DX500. My Galaxy 99 puffed the key up circuit and I want to avoid this. My Dx500 is the old one without the knob (Not a 500V). What is the max input (output from radio) that will work. I am now back to seperate components...

A new issue has risen, I finally picked up my new truck and it has been set up for a radio (Off the upper console at windsheild...Peterbilt) and a amp behind the passenger seat. Its already set up. So, Now I am back to the Amp/Radio combo. I really like the rCI 69ffb4 but the $$ are a tough one...

Probably a stupid question, Just wondering, Has anyone plumbed off the internal controls and put controls on the outside, say on the side of the radio with echo or any other internally adjusted item that wasn't on the front of the radio. Just wondering if anyone has.

I am waiting to get this radio and was wondering how easy it is to adjust the echo from the inside. Is it just a trim pot? It is my understanding that it comes stock with a bit to much. Thanks
