A related question. I just looked in the SAMS for the C-2000. The schematic shows the final to be a 2SC1969 Does THIS MEAN that the NTE-236 is a workable replacement???? If so.... I think that would make this one of those "holy grail" things....

Hey Dan, I have not dug back to look..... Have you ever posted a compiled list of the CB-XXX volumes that you are missing? I for one... could see that as being handy... when I see a volume available either letting you know... or getting it and DONATING it... so that you have a more complete set.

So, if I understand this right ... you would STILL see "immediate carrier".... but it would be 'off frequency' until the VCO catches up..... hence "the chirp"!!! and the modulation would appear once the "catch up" is done. Does that sound reasonable?
