Very extreme! Where in Texas are you? The only area I know with extreme winds like that is in the Guadalupe mountains along the NM border between El Paso and Carlsbad NM.

Good point, I tried a much lower value cap and noticed an increase in highs. With the mic I'm using, it sounds better with no cap so I'm going to run it this way for a while.

Here's the desk mic with electret element for the Anytone 6666 I wired up with up/down buttons and a PF button. Works really well!

Ok I got it working. It was a ground wire that came disconnected. Thanks for posting new wiring for the Pro series!
