Yep, 11-meters. I thought that might be the issue. Not going to mess around with this beautiful THP amp. Works flawlessly on in-band SSB. I have an "out of band" amp on the way, so not a big deal.

Yeah, I could just mod my FTDX101MP and called it good.
I think you would need to bond that ladder (or mount) to the RV. Ladder may be isolated from RV body with bushings or plastic washers. Think you need continuity between ladder and RV body to form some bit of a ground plane effect.
