Hey: Guys. I'm fixing an old Cobra 21XLR & that damn glue that they used to hold part still like large capacitors crystal & so on has ate the legs off the three crystals in the radio. I need a 36.570 Mixer crystal. Anyone have a good new or used one ? Let me know please. Thanks. Bruce.

I have the same noise here in Toronto. Canada on & off the past month or so. Some days it's strong other days not so much. I think it's sun spots or other atmospheric noise.

I have two cobra 29's one is the LTD classic, made in China & the other is a 29 NW ST, made in China. They both have L12 which is a coil close to the antenna connector. These are both scrap radios so if you need part I can un-solder them & mail them to you for free. Let me know. bruce1965@bell.net
