You can probably thank the 3885 crew (or their sycophants) for that. Used to hang out on 3892 years ago with a bunch from OH, PA, NY and VA. Another crowd - primarily in TN and KY - operated on 91 in the evenings. As soon as the band opened to them, myself and whomever else wanted to join...

I ran a '2600 and a '2510 for years as part of my packet BBS/gateway setup. Those radios saw a bunch of activity when propagation on 10 was up and they never faltered.
