    my wilson 5k mag mount reads as foolw .. x=0 R= 76 ..would you guys consider this tuned for max peak performance?? R and X dont move much at all with frequencey. or even moving whip up or down . 3 or 4 numbers on R 2or 3 on X. .. whip has not been cut or altered

    ive had 3/8x24 and so239 type anttenas ..but never had the nmo type mount ..until recently ive only seen the nmo type on ham antennas. and the antenna im looking at is called a browning BR-140-B base loaded antenna. i seen it online at bobscb.com. any info will be appreciated

    i have the sirio 5000 fighter pl.. its much longer than the wilson..on top of roof on my truck it smacks everything..a 5 foot skipshooter would be a good choice also

    yes you will best power outta stock mic ..the radio is design to have a electric type mic on it which is what the stock mic is. a noise calling mic is a dynamic type which probaly dont work very well.. yes this make perfect sence what ya seeing

    turner mics are good.. my favorite.. the pronlem is on a lincoln 2 is the stock mic is a electric condensor mic. not dynamic. which is why the stock mic sounds best,.hope i got the terminlogy right on this...

    i agree with this.. yes they advertise 5000 watts. but 500- 1000 ssb power is most id run thru it..maybe it can handle more ...idk ..i wouldnt try it

    i have a 2016..which replaced a snapped imax.. it recieves slightly better and tx slightly better also.. imho i think the macov 5/8 would be slightly better than my sirio

    look, up the sirio gainmaster half wave its center fed and has a built in rf choke to keep ya outta of tvs
