yeah I saw the schematic and noticed that. Weird there is a red red orange in loc R129 which is a 22K. Someone must have changed it then cut it. Guess I'll put back in a 33K back in there. Wouldn't hurt to try.
Anyone know the function of R129 in a Cobra 148? The 148 I have is in good shape but it looks like someone cut R129. 22K resistor 1/8 watt. Just curious if it needs to be left alone cut, or replace it with a new one. thanks.

My 2000 is doing the exact same thing. Turn on radio and the clock resets. Can someone confirm that the caps in the freq counter are the problem and need replacing?
