Yep, I had 1 AC cord for one of the radios, and the second I added wires internally for one, and then used some butt connectors to the external plug for the other. Works OK, just looks a little funny.

I think the mobile/base had 2 different cords, if that's what you're referring to, one for 12V DC and one for 120V AC...like the JC Penny radios. Hard to find.

Found this in my parts selection. I don't know if it's a specific radio part or an aftermarket item. Almost looks like some sort of channel board, but I'm just guessing. I have no information or paperwork I can find.

I've a PYLE 60/65 psl642x and I've never had an issue. I also have some Astrons RS-60 and Tripp-lite pr-60. Never had an issue with any of them, and I have some smaller version of both brands...big, heavy, and reliable.

On another note, what settings on a Tektronic 2235 would it be set at to read the audio. I do have a RF sensor I built, but not to sure where I need to set it to get the correct looking wave form. Thanks This is the waveform I'm getting, with audio. Didn't hookup my tone generator, just...

I got the radio back. I had to replace the protection diode as my nephew put a square peg in a round hole and put the cord into the back of the radio just enough to short it out. Removed the C91 and replaced with a new one just out of caution, and I have some extra. Reading on my T7 do...

Isn't this cap already kinda running reverse polarity as the positive lead is to ground? Or am I missing something. I know reverse polarity can actually burst or explode an electrolytic cap, from experience, or lack thereof, I have had that happen to me. I would imagine the voltage and current...

Found a little better picture of a 25 with the same board ID. Appears I did put the cap in 180 out.
