I didn't realize this was a huge deal. I just report them and assume our wonderful mods take care of it. Reporting a message as spam will get it reviewed my a mod, right?

How bad is it?

The menus aren't intuitive. If I use it often it isn't terrible, but if I don't use mine weekly, I forget. It's really annoying, but then again, they are getting pretty cheap now. Unless you want a digital voice mode, the 2730 has pretty much anything you'd want other than ssb.

It is an R, but I think all of the radios just say FT-7800 on them. They may not look like it, but the faceplate is removable.
