Actually...... I have 3 UV5R radios at the moment. I have one programmed for local public works, Sheriff, CalFire, Medical and my wife likes to use it to monitor those , along with the FM radio. The other 2 have GMRS, FRS and some local stuff programed, I live in a tourist town and we get lots...

Search around the CRT site above, the are several different clones that use similar boards, maybe one is closer to what you have. It's weird that it's different than the schmo, but you never know who's changed what over the years or if it was a last run before a new board came out.... 73 Jeff

A dual gang air gap variable capacitor, used to see lots of them in old AM tube radios. You can use one gang separately from the other for different functions. 73 Jeff
