Also have a DX55 in my Freightliner that I dislike just as much, just not quite ready to move it out yet. I know I sound like a Galaxy hater, but really haven't been impressed. For my taste I have had much better radios as in Cobra 25, 29, Grants, etc.

I have a Cobra 25 WX and ST, no NW. It was in my Freightliner for probably 20 years. Transmit and receive intermittently drop out, if you want it you can have it for shipping.
