Hi Thanks for the answers... yes i find that in older models of KL 500 have that SD1446 transistor.. so i think it will also work on these new model. I ask for these MS1051 from asia markets and best offer so far is 30 us $ pcs and 35 $ shipping... that price for sd1466 79$ sound too...

:glare: i remove final (4 pcs) transistor and i make measurements of them it seems to be that all of them are burn out.:( Transistor model is NPN MS1051 now i need to find somewhere a new ones.. i think these are not cheap..

HI problem- when i turn transformer on (even amp is off) it takes over 30 amp of current -> final transistor start to heat quickly. So it is like shortcut somewhere ? Have any one play with same problem? Are final transistor burn out or is it control malfunction ?

Hi My Harry 2 classic does not listen well, i can only hear weak noise (if i put my ear close to audio speaker) Speaker is tested and OK. Audio volume is full open and squelch is 0..but something wrong because loud FM noise is missing.. Transmitting is OK. On Main boar is text UNIDEN 2004...

it`s using AM modulation....im just wonder why so big difference...

Negative...Even i but that cursor left or somewhere else and set freq. to .555,565,575 or something else and hit UP key is`s setting freq. to .550,560,570 again... or DOWN key .550,540,530

Hello I get used Uniden 2830 from england and i find problem tat every time when i push channel step putton up or down channel last digits are examp. 27.550, 27,560, 27,570 etc...how i can mod that do step like 27.555, 27.565, 27575 etc.. :headbang:cursing:
