I couldn't program in way points like with a traditional GPS; however, I was able to lookup the coordinates ahead of time, print them out and take them with me, then fairly easily maneuver to them using the current position on the GPS.

Yaesu VX-8R with a Comet Dual Band antenna into a local repeater here in Texas. That repeater doesn't have IRLP, so he was also hitting it. He said he had a 50W radio connected to a vertical 2m antenna that was 70' in the air.
