    I use a simple home made curve tracer with my scope to make fast checks on in circuit/out of circuit transistors,diodes,resistors,capacitors,grounds,connections..sometimes it is best to just lift one end of a diode to check it or lift the transistors leads for a better check..... a good curve...

    Yes,You can make a 4 ft. fluorescent bulb light up and once you get the bulb started you can walk 20 or more feet away from the antenna and it will stay lit untill it gets dim and drops out....it all depends on your antenna and how much power you are puting out. I have never had one get warm...

    The best thing to do is Buy or Build you a bigger power supply and be done with it.....I don't think the dryer motor/alt. combo will get it.....But you can try it.....since it's your stuff ! BTW if you need info on building you a larger power supply just go to Google and enter the words...
