Oh, I forgot to mention, I have been shopping, got a VX-6R and an icom 706mkii used, both for great prices. Got a J-pole and a 5btv for the house, and for now a 2meter ant for the truck.

Just got my General ticket a couple of hrs ago,,:thumbup1: decided not to try for Extra at this point.

Congrats on your General ticket, I passed my Tech, and missed General last month by two, after only a few hrs of studying on Ham test online. Taking my General next weekend.
