    Connex echo board Installation....need help

    I was given a echo board taken from a Connex radio. I was wanting to install it into a Tram 201. Is this possible? If so can someone give me some help. I know the the Tram 201 runs on 110 volts but somewhere in it there should be a 12 volt source??? I looked for a web site with instructions...

    Big Question: Why do most Ham radio's sound like crap on AM

    I know it may not be appropriate but I guess I am guilty. I have a Yaesu FT1000 mk5 that I have tried to transmit on any frequency on AM and it sounds distorted. This is after turning the pwr to various levels of output. I have turned the mic gain down, and the processor does not work anyway...
