    Well the SWR matcher does need a +12v feed via the screw on the side. when it gets a feed the need shoots right to the top of the gauge.

    thanks mate! so much more clearer now. the only thing i dont know is how does the SWR antenna matcher get power? do i give it a live feed with the screw at the side then earth it with the aerial?
