    used this transmitter for about a year worked very good. and then, recently turned it on standby and the 10 watt ceramic resistor gets very hot and will smoke. very noticeable hum from the transformer. any help or suggestions will be apprecieated. n4tbu

    its been a year since my last post, my knight kit t 60 worked fine made a few contacts. and then i smelled smoke. the 10 w resistor was smoking..seen arcing on the function switch.heard a hum. the 3 a fuze doesent blow. any help will be appreciated thanks n4tbu

    i need help putting my t 60 back on air. i bought on on ebay, nice cond, said tested for power only. well replaced the electrolytics, doxit contro;ls, brought it up on a variac. all went well exept no transmit.manual says cr1 a crystal diode could be bad and replace. made me think it was...

    superstar ss 158 edx

    just bought one off of e bay. havent even recieved it yet and im already dissapointed. i read some reviews that were not so good. ssb drift, fm muffeled modulation, and the made in china thing, cheap componets, poor quality control, etc. hope its not as bad as the reviews.
