ICOM IC 2300 MARS CAP?

Has anyone figured out how to extend the TX on this radio, ICOM got smart and made it harder then just breaking off a diode... oh well I know that you guys are way smarter then I am and hopefully we can figure it out. Take Care

Has anyone had these radios open to see if you can open up the TX? the guts look totally different then the IC 2200...
