38 LSB agitator "Blue Waffle" fined $18,000 by the FCC

38 LSB agitator "Blue Waffle" fined $18,000 by the FCC

I typed to Jerry/Blue Waffe on his YouTube channel. He said he was not going to pay the FCC fine. I told him when he went to prison for not paying that fine he was going to have to change his handle to "The Butt Waffle". Ha ha

38 LSB agitator "Blue Waffle" fined $18,000 by the FCC

That is correct. The radio in the "Blue Waffle returns" video is a Realistic TRC-451. The Realistic TRC-450 looks just like it, but it has a different PLL chip. The TRC-451 is one of my favorite 40 channel sideband radios, but it is not very friendly as far as extra channels. Night Ranger

SkipGate live videogate is now available for CB 38 LSB

I was busy figuring out how to make the videogate work. I still have to figure out how to do line level audio input to my laptop since it does not have a separate mic or line level in jack. Night Ranger

SkipGate live videogate is now available for CB 38 LSB

Sorry. I did not get a schematic with mine either. It works great for nulling out AM carriers while on sideband, and it can turn an annoying roger beep in to a roger chirp. Night Ranger

    D&A Warrior 1000

Thanks for this post 2600. Very informative. A local CB'er brought me a Palomar 200x he had over driven in to the non-working category. The amp originally came with 8950 tubes, but it had been converted to 6LF6 tubes. The cathode pins show the same melted wire as your picture shows for the...

Booty Monster's Vector 40000 thread on Eham

Good job on the antenna Booty. I always hate it when some nerdy ham is rude to CB'ers even though many of them started on CB. They get their license and then pretend their CB days never happened. I started on CB when I was 12 years old back in 1975, and I had a blast. I got my ham license in...

A six element curtain array for the CB band

He seems to go in to agitate mode when he is bored. Usually when I talk to him he is pretty friendly. As far as the six element curtain array, I am really happy with it. I could not have hoped for any better performance from it. I have gotten 20 over S9 reports out of Hawaii with it on...

I moved my home made CB j-pole to a higher tree limb at about 50 feet plus. Skip between South Carolina and Pennsylvania came in, and I was able to use the J-Pole to talk to some friends in PA. The distance between stations is about 700 miles. Chatting with Spitfire & Sparky in Pennsylvania...
