I ordered some just to see what they looked like. I have 4 of them. Before I even got them I filed a claim and got my money back. I will take a picture of them when I get home. I can tell you though that the legs on them are significantly shorter than genuine Toshiba's.
I was told the problem is the mixer isn't linear and the harmonics are causing the radio to emit a spur on the 10 meter band and there is no real fix for it because it is the nature of the design. I guess I will sell this radio as I don't want to cause any harmful interference on amateur radio bands
Hey all, I've been messing around with this radio for a little bit now and have noticed a significant spur on 28.380 when transmitting on 27.285. The only thing done to this radio since new was the conversion for 11 meters. Is there any way to rectify this? From what I can gather it's the mixer...
I've noticed it too. I checked it and could hear it as far up as the 10 meter band. I can understand what he is saying through all 40 channels. Finally, a place I can come and chat with people who understand that it is a problem and not a result of how "big of a radio" he is. I can't seem to get...
