An 2004 Cobra 29. Old style audio chip. Connected positive of cap to junction of d18 and r99 like it said and there is a ground right next to it. Tried a 470uf, 220uf and 1000uf. Nothing.

I agree. I don't clip limiter either and I get the work I get because of what stuff sounds like as well. I don't do anything to any radio I wouldn't do to my personal radio. They want what i got they get it.
