yep I think that's what's going on the RF is bouncing around off the cab for one thing.
I tried this with one coil antenna the same spot on a F-150 swr was no good and couldn't get it right.
I tried back behind the cab of a Mack, and it drove me nuts trying to figure it out. Open the door...

Here in Missouri we've got Maine, Rhode Island and California coming in.
Managed to contact 117 but he got walked on and I think he was in Rhode Island.

Checked the volts out from the supply 13.8. and the put it in variable mode. The 955 radio is always .2 volt higher from the Meter and supply.
Probably a way to correct that, seem like I've seen it on a video. Not a big deal but annoying detail.
