FT-891...anyone try this mod?

Well I had to reset it again with the f key and the clar key down while powering up. All better!

FT-891...anyone try this mod?

So I have an 891 and I preformed this mod with the liquid solder which was easy to use. When I restart it the radio transmits from 1.8Mhz to 29.99Mhz and 50 to 53.99Mhz. I was really hoping to be able to transmit in the lowband VHF as it is darn near impossible to find low band radios anymore...
