    Yes, I do realize that but what I'm trying to accomplish is to be able to change frequency with up down buttons(which is possible) and change channels with the rotory knob. I've seen videos on YouTube of people using the rotory knob for channels. I just can't figure out how they are setting it...

    Thanks, I appreciate the help. However doing it that way takes two clicks on some channels to get to the next one and if I go above 40 or below 1 it takes me out of the band I'm in.

    I have the Lincoln 2+. I found in the owners manual how to change the up down buttons from Channel to frequency but for the life of me, can't figure out how to change it for the rotory knob. I want to be able to change channels with the rotory knob instead of frequency. Please help?

    Thanks secret squirrel. UPDATE- the radio started cutting off completely. I could wiggle the fuse holder cap and it would flicker on and off. So there's some kinda problem going on there. I plugged in a12v cable and switched it to run off dc. All of the fluttering audio stopped! So now I just...

    I've been hanging around here a long time but this is my first post. I recently acquired a president Washington PC-385AG MB8719. Radio works great for the most part but has a quirk. If I set the dead key any lower than 3watts, I get a flutter in the audio while talking. The meter reflects this...
