Solved: used a c clamp, the base has a spring so I just moved the elbow of the antenna to its lowest portion and forced it back in, it wasn't loose

over bid on one of these and it arrived today. Forgive the terrible pictures but the antenna won't stay in. a look inside the antenna Port shows a ring on the inside with a small Gap but the antenna itself is smooth. When I opened the case I loosened the brass screw that holds down the antenna...
