AnyTone Q6 Power on Beep Delete

It doesn't bother me at all but I have received many requests from operators in the community if I knew a way to disable it so I found a solution and I'm sharing it.

AnyTone Q6 Power on Beep Delete

A lot of my Facebook friends and radio operators requested to be able to disable the power on beep on the Q6. I told you all I would figure it out and share! Here you go! Just remove the capacitor circled that I have already removed in this photo. This disables ALL beeps regardless of menu...

The method I posted will not hardly do anything on the Ares2. Even with service menu access it does very little. I have since chose a different area to do NPC on this chassis even though the method I posted does wake up the other radios with this board it's next to useless on the Ares2. Has...

I don't know about the Ares2 specifically but the other rigs that use this board sound very good with a Turner Plus 3...as a side note I hate Turner 3s most of the time but they are perfect on this chassis!

A Absolutely...most sensible response yet. My NPC mods are all set up with a scope with minimum distortion. As with anything you can't get something from nothing so it not perfect but man it's close and it stays between the lines really well!

    Anytone Ares 2

I cracked the Service Menu. I also performed a hardware NPC mod which works on with factory NPC from carriers below 6 watts. There's still some stuff to work out but I have the radio usable now with great audio. I have some videos on Facebook. I also show the scope. Feel free to flame away...

I can notice it over the air as long as the signal is strong. I'm an audiophile though.

Yes they do! The N2 sounds the same too. It is the digitally processed audio. I call it DigiWigi. All audio is processed in firmware. DSP artifact but I like it!

    Anytone 6666 HiFi mods?

Very nice, exceptionally clean sound. Reminded me of 131 Mustang Radio. Definitely improved the high frequency tearing sound over stock. You run a different style audio than I do. Which is fine. Not saying anything bad at all. Yours is nice and open. I run a heavy bit of processing and a lot of...

    Anytone 6666 HiFi mods?

Sweet on replacing those crappy old 4558s lol. I've considered that myself. Nice to see a report of someone that has actually done it. I should have documented the values I settled on but I never exactly what I would call perfected either radio of mine. I had full intentions of coming back to...

    Anytone 6666 HiFi mods?

I'm the guy that posted the pics of the cap locations for the Q6. You mentioned you didn't like the RX mods. I was wandering if you tried removing the cap for more highs? I don't recall the location. I don't recall all the details but if you removed the cap to open the highs back up I felt a...

That radio shouldn't be off frequency. I've had my hands on many models...they have all been perfectly on frequency.

Your welcome By the way some menu items require specialized test equipment and procedures to adjust and if the parameters are changed without the proper test setup you can't just put them back. I recommend only adjusting the modulation and power menu items. Great job. 73 Panic Attack Illinois...

    Calibrating a Dosy TR-1000

Ok here's the facts to back my claims straight from the manufacturer, not a stores claims. Frequency range per manufacturer is right at the top.
