    Portable power and radio kit - home build?

    i built a solar generator back in 2007. it worked pretty good, and ran it entirely on 12v.. :) all parts minus the charge controller were had from a local kragen auto parts. the charge controller was bought from one "silicon solar" out of florida. all in all the build was around 350$.
